Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Highlander Grazing, LLC (“Company”, “we”, or “us”) to our clients (“Client”, “you”). By engaging in our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Payment Terms and Bookings

Payment Upon Receipt:
All services rendered by Highlander Grazing LLC are to be paid upon receipt, unless otherwise specified in a booking arrangement.
Booking Services and Deposits:
When booking services, a deposit equal to 20% of the total service cost is required to secure the event date, unless otherwise specified in a booking arrangement. This deposit is fully refundable if the Client cancels the booking at least 30 days before the scheduled event date. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
- Note: Events or bookings of $500.00 or less are subject to a 14-day cancellation. This deposit is fully refundable if the Client cancels the booking at least 14 days before the scheduled event date. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
All Sales Are Final:
- Except for the refundable deposit as stated, all sales are final. No further refunds will be issued once services have been rendered.
- Event Scheduling and Acts of Nature - Rescheduling Due to Inclement weather.
Weather:
- In the event of inclement weather or other acts of Mother Nature that significantly impact the event, the Client must notify Highlander Grazing, LLC to arrange for an alternate event date. Rescheduling will be done on a case-by-case basis and is subject to mutual agreement between the Client and the Company.
Alcohol Service (when applicable):
- Alcohol Provisions:
  For any events that serve alcohol, it is expressly understood that Highlander Grazing, LLC employees are not authorized to serve alcohol. The responsibility for serving any alcohol at the event lies solely with the host. The Client must ensure that alcohol service complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Food Allergies and Sensitivities:
- Disclosure Responsibility: It is the client’s responsibility to inform Highlander Grazing LLC of any known food allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking. Cross-Contamination Risk: All food is prepared in a shared facility where allergens such as dairy, nuts, gluten, soy, and shellfish may be present. While reasonable efforts are being made to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation.
- Liability Waiver: Highlander Grazing LLC is not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues resulting from consumption of our products. Clients assume full responsibility for communicating allergy information to their guests.
- By proceeding with an order or event, the client agrees to these terms and releases Highlander Grazing LLC from any claims related to food allergies.
Conduct and Harassment Policy:
- Professional Conduct:
  Highlander Grazing, LLC is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for our staff and clients. Any host or guest who harasses or becomes hostile toward a server or any Company representative will be subject to applicable laws.
Legal Action:
- The Company reserves the right to take legal action, up to and fully including prosecution permitted by law, against anyone found engaging in such conduct.
Damage and Incidentals:
- Responsibility for Equipment Damage:
  Clients are responsible for any damage to equipment or property provided by Highlander Grazing LLC during an event. In the event of damage caused by a host or guest, a charge of $250.00 will be applied to cover incidentals. This fee will be processed via the Client’s payment method on file.
General Provisions:
- Amendments:
  - Highlander Grazing, LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective as posted on our website or communicated directly to scheduled clients. Continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Governing Law:
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Highlander Grazing, LLC operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Severability:
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Changes to the Terms of Service:
- You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. We will notify you of any material changes to these Terms in accordance with applicable law, and such changes will be effective on the date specified in the notice. Your continued use of or access to the Services following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
